About me

Hi I’m Kellie Campbell and a mum to two beautiful girls, and I personally know how our sleep can affect everything in our lives. After having my first child and experiencing first-hand the effects of settling issues, multiple night wakening’s, short day time naps, as well as, silent reflux and cows milk protein intolerance (CMPI). These issues impacted my life, health and most of all my sleep. This lead me on my journey to becoming a ‘Certified Child Sleep Consultant’ (Institute of Sensitive Sleep) with over 7 years’ experience, for expectant parents, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, and wanting to help other parents in teaching their littles ones to learn to love their sleep.

With my background as a Midwife (15years), Registered Nurse (16years) and Primary School Teacher (10years). I have had direct experience with babies, infants and children, and often see the consequences that poor sleep has on both ourselves, families and our little one’s health. I also am a mentor for 'Sensitive Sleep' students who are starting their own journey's as Child Sleep Consultant's and sharing my experiences and skills to help them with their own businesses.

I am passionate in delivering families the skills they need to assist their little ones with their sleep and settling, and provide them with assistance and support along their sleep journey. Sleep deprivation affects the whole family and can play a key role in both our mental and physical health.

My approach at ‘Sleep Tight’ is individualised for each little one and offers the caregivers a better awareness of their little one’s needs, cues and capabilities. I provide a step-by-step individualised guide with workable strategies for creating an emotional and physical safe sleep space.

Each family is sensitively guided and supported to improve their little one’s sleep, while respecting their parenting style. My techniques consider your little one’s temperament, behaviour and age. They promote parental understanding and respect for your little one’s experience and communication, and encourages parents to comfort their children through a modification process. I provide families with an approach that supports a nurturing relationship between the parent and the child. I help guide families through tailored solutions born from a place of understanding and respect. My strategies can be modified if needed, which creates flexibility within the family. My approach doesn’t support ‘cry it out’ or ‘controlled crying’ methods.

I also have had the opportunity to work alongside other health professionals as a trusted consultant and point of referral, including, Paediatricians, GP’s, Child Health Nurses, Midwives, Chiropractors, Psychologists and Speech Pathologists.
To allow me into your family and work alongside you and your little one’s sleep journey is something I am very passionate about and hold close to my heart. Sleep affects everything and my goal is helping families get the sleep and reassurance they need and deserve and making parenthood a rewarding experience.
